When you use Remote Desktop Connections you may see the following error:<\/p>\n

BITMAP DISK CACHE FAILURE: Your disk is full or the cache directory is missing or corrupted.\u00a0 Some bitmaps may not appear.<\/p>\n

You then have three real options:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Do nothing.\u00a0 Your RDP session will function b\"rdp-how-to-disable-bitmap-caching\"ut will \u201clock up\u201d from time to time, which is annoying<\/li>\n
  2. Disable Caching \u2013 Open your Remote Desktop Client, click OPTIONS, then EXPERIENCE, uncheck PERSISTANT BITMAP CACHING.\u00a0 See the image to the right<\/li>\n
  3. Clear your cache.\u00a0 This is very easy to do:\n
      \n
    1. log out of ALL RDP sessions<\/li>\n
    2. C:\\Users\\<username>\\AppData\\Local\\Microsoft\\Terminal Server Client\\Cache<\/li>\n
