A mem\u00f3ria RAM \u00e9 vol\u00e1til, mas \u00e9 a mais r\u00e1pida de um sistema. No entanto, comparativamente \u00e0 mem\u00f3ria de armazenamento (mem\u00f3ria em disco), a mem\u00f3ria RAM \u00e9 mais cara e de menor dimens\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>No Linux podemos ter uma parti\u00e7\u00e3o Swap que permite usar mem\u00f3ria de armazenamento do disco como se fosse mem\u00f3ria RAM (obviamente sendo mais lenta). Para este exemplo, estamos a definir um ficheiro com 3GB.
